Paul always fought hard for what he believed in and through the charity we are committed to continuing his work for people’s welfare.

He spent many years working to improve

the quality of life for people, especially here

in Brent. He was a member of many

community groups, Leader of Brent Council from 1996 – 2001 and finally as the MP

for Brent East.

As much as possible of the money raised

will be used to support the aims of the

Trust, We will always endeavour to keep

costs as low as possible at all times.

The Trust is a registered charity and an auditable, limited company. We are one of charities being supported by the Mayor of Brent,  and the Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone.

The Trust was formed following the death of Paul Daisley from colon cancer in June 2003 at the age of 45.

Paul was an active man who enjoyed all aspects of life.

He spent many years working to improve the quality of

life for people, especially in Brent, as a member of many community groups, Councillor for Harlesden from 1990 - 2002, Leader of Brent Council from 1996  -  2001 and finally as the MP for Brent East.

Colon cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in the

UK, this means that someone dies every 30 minutes from colon cancer.
